| I believe in beauty. i believe in this world. The institution would make me believe that I am seperate from this world but these are my brothers and sisters. The poor and the confused are the ones who most help me when I am poor and confused. Some spiritual assemblies take a vow to never reach or enter heaven until every last sould on earth has entered. Other spiritual assemblies, if they may be called that, would argue that heaven us unatainable to some through no fault of their own but their natural lottery. When are we to petition heaven for equal rights? Or are we to say, we accept that our brothers might suffer an everlasting death in solitude, for how can anybody trully be a saint in heaven with that guilt on their heart? How can anyone be at ease at all knowing just one person is at pain. I don't know if that is the kind of heart that ever attains heaven. | | |
